RapidWeaver Elements is a no-code website builder for macOS

RapidWeaver Elements (also called Elements) is designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking for simplicity or an experienced web developer who needs advanced customisation, Elements balances ease of use with powerful features.

RapidWeaver Elements includes everything you need to create a beautiful, modern website, with regular improvements shaped by our community.

### New to Elements?

If you’re new to Elements, the [Quickstart Guide](/elements-docs/getting-started/quickstart.md) will help you build your first website.

### What is RapidWeaver Elements?

Elements is a **no‑code website builder for macOS** that generates fast, modern, standards‑based sites.

Behind the scenes, Elements is powered by [Tailwind CSS](https://tailwindcss.com) and [AlpineJS](https://alpinejs.dev), giving you a rock‑solid, modern foundation without requiring you to write code. The app builds a custom, minimal CSS bundle for each project in real time, so your sites stay **lean and performant**.

Elements works great for:

* Personal and portfolio sites
* Small business and client sites
* Blogs and content‑heavy sites using the built‑in [CMS](/elements-docs/using-elements/components/data-and-organisation/cms.md)
* Long‑form content, digital gardens, and knowledge bases
* Landing pages and marketing sites

If you want more detail on how Elements is structured under the hood, see [Core Concepts](/elements-docs/getting-started/quickstart/design-system.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.realmacsoftware.com/elements-docs/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
