Our built-in file manager makes managing your files and folders quick and easy. You can create new files or folders, upload your files, edit documents, and download files whenever needed.

It also lets you move, rename, delete, and organize your files smoothly.

You can compress files to save space or uncompress them when needed, and easily check or change permissions if necessary.

Access is secure, only available to the account owner or authorized FTP/account users.

This tool simplifies your file management tasks, saving you time and effort.

To use the built-in file manager, following the below steps:

#### Step 1

Log into the [Elements Hosting Reactor Panel](https://reactor.elementshosting.io/), click on `Websites` in the sidebar menu, click on the website you'd like to access the File Manager for, or click on `...` to the right and select `Manage` from the drop-down menu.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.realmacsoftware.com/elements-docs/hosting/elements-hosting-reactor-panel/websites/manage-websites/files.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
